Whitewashed Chest

Desiree from Camelot Art Creations had a curvy low boy chest that was in need of a little TLC.

She wanted a finish that didn’t “cover up” the beautiful bird’s eye maple but instead gave the tired piece a fresh look.

Desiree found the perfect finish in a whitewashing technique inspired by a similarly-shaped chest from Wisteria.

Desiree was inspired by the Sleek Dutch Chest of Drawers from Wisteria.
