Rustic Red Sideboard

Hillary from The Friendly Home joined forces with Ana White to fill a large space in her friend’s dining room with this rustic sideboard. Just as Hillary hoped, the piece is full of character with its deep red finish and planked appearance. Needless to say, Hillary is a crazy talented builder. I am simply in awe of her skills!

The design for Hillary’s sideboard was inspired by the Salvaged Wood Sideboard from Restoration Hardware.

I’ve been looking at these because I’m about to install hardware on a couple of pieces that former hardware holes were filled in prior to painting. I’ve seen them for less than $8 and as much as $40. The one above is less than $13 from Woodcraft. I’d love to know the cost if you remember for the one you bought.

My favorite color is red and I think that this piece is BEAUTIFUL!
