What do you get when you combine a candle holder, a cake pan, and silk flowers from the Goodwill? A super cheap, designer-inspired cake stand perfect for displaying delectable desserts! Morena over at Morena’s Corner made this easy peasy dessert stand by simply gluing together her three items and then spray painting them for a uniform finish. The flowers are beautiful for Mother’s Day, but you could customize your stand for any occasion by using theme-appropriate items. Think rattles for a baby shower, toys for a kids birthday party…

I love this diy project. I keep looking at cake stands in stores but I have never bought one. I am glad I didn’t buy one because now I can use my creativity to make one …and it will really stand out on a table. This project is now on my to do list.
