Kelly of Living in a Fixer Upper stretched herself a bit with this gray-painted dresser makeover.
Why? It was her first time using glaze on a piece of furniture and she was a little nervous about messing it up.
However, thanks to the “sage advice” of a fellow blogger, the glaze went on without a hitch and the dresser came out beautifully!
Draven was inspired by the Antiqued Graphite finish on the Maison 5-Drawer Narrow Dresser from Restoration Hardware.
If you want to be a little bold and go with a darker gray color, try Sherwin-Williams’ Peppercorn paint color. It would no doubt be a statement!
Go to Living in a Fixer Upper to see how to achieve a similar paint finish to Restoration Hardware’s Antiqued Graphite.

Gorgeous paint finish! It's time to hit the thrift stores to find a dresser to recreate this look. Very classic, but not stuffy. The graphite color gives it that hip-factor taking it from traditional to contemporary.

I agree, Linda! It is a very versatile look, and I am a total sucker for the graphite color too!
