Denise from A Girl and a Brush first saw the Bellatrix chest from Horchow a few months ago and loved the black and gold combination so much that she knew she wanted to use it with some of her pieces.
When Denise got an old desk at an auction, there was no question what she wanted to do with it.
A few challenges popped up along the way, but in the end this is one of Denise’s favorite transformations to date!
Denise was inspired by the Maitland-Smith”Bellatrix” Black Chest from Horchow.

This is really lovely! I stopped over to read about how she did this, and I like this much better than the oak wood. I like it better than the one from Horchow. She did a beautiful job!
