Kristen from Inspired Whims and her hubby decided to do a non-traditional Christmas tree this year because they have a young toddler who would love to pull down a real tree. They found a beautiful wooden Christmas tree online and really liked that it looked like a piece of art. Instead of dishing out a whopping $150, they made their own with a wood baluster and dowels. I totally agree with Kristen that theirs turned out even better than the designer tree. Theirs looks much fuller, and the red brackets add a little pizzazz.
Kristen was inspired by the Filigrantrae Danish Design Tabletop Birch Christmas Tree sold by Design Public.
