Rope Wrapped Lamp

It’s about that time of year again when rope décor can be seen all over home décor stores and throughout catalog pages. Elissa shares at Clever how to give a lamp that much-desired nautical flair with some rope and a hot glue gun. I love how the little extras of the rope-trimmed shade and darker sisal tied around the neck of the lamp really bring the whole look together and give a high-end finish.

That's a really cool idea. I just spray painted my end table lamps in my bedroom hot fuchsia and I'm trying to get ideas for the shades that came with them. This is an idea, but I like the square pattern on the first picture and think that might be a cool idea.
