When Amy of DIY Candy saw West Elm’s plank coffee table, she knew it was a piece of furniture she HAD to have.
However, she also knew it wasn’t necessary to spend $999 on it. Amy turned to one of my favorite wood sources – pallets! – to create her own one-a-kind coffee table for only $45.
Not only did using pallets keep the costs low, but the knots and nail holes add tons of character.
I honestly love Amy’s table even more than her West Elm inspiration!
