Give your kids a themed place to put their toys away and maybe they will actually clean up their toys! At least that was the idea behind Tricia from Simplicity in the South‘s cute car jar. She wanted to give her boys a place to store all of their hot wheels when they weren’t playing so they didn’t become little landmines for hurt feet. Tricia took a wide-mouth jar, a can of spray paint, and a single hot wheel to make the jars. She recommends consulting your kids before you glue one of their toys to the lid- you don’t want to accidentally pick their favorite and ruin the whole thing!
Her jars turned out super cute and they add the perfect pop of color to a boy’s room.
