Glass to Wood Console Table Makeover

Jessica from A Smith of All Trades had been looking for a console table for her living room when she stumbled upon a metal and glass console table on Craigslist. While the piece looked dated, it had good bones. Jessica picked it up and immediately got to work refabbing it to work for her space. She replaced the glass top with pine boards and stained them to match a set of Ballard thrift store finds already featured in her room. She says, “It matches the existing tables in the room so well, you’d never guess I didn’t get all three as a set. Not to mention my less than $70 price tag sure beats the $350 price at Ballard for their version of the console table. Love it!”
