Faux Silver Bird Pedestal

If you love the rich look of aged silver AND saving a pretty penny (who doesn’t?!?), then you will love this knock-off from Morena’s Corner. Morena glued together a few dollar store finds and then painted them to create this birdie pedestal. I love how Morena rubbed black acrylic paint over the metallic paint to add depth and texture. This simple technique could be used to give pretty much anything a fresh, new finish.
