On a road trip to New York, Lynn from Nourish and Nestle picked up a cool rusted oyster basket. She was unsure what she was going to do with her fabulous find when, as fate would have it, her hotel room was decorated in some super cool oyster shell cluster sculptures. When she returned home she began scouring for oyster shells, (refusing to buy them online as she lives in coastal North Carolina!) eventually finding some at a local fish store. Using a hot glue gun and some foam balls, she created some cool nautical pieces to display in her antique oyster basket.
This is one of Lynn’s oyster clusters.
You can find similar sculptures on Houzz for $180!

Thanks so much for featuring my oyster shell clusters. They were so easy to make and almost free (except for styrofoam ball and glue sticks)! So glad to share them.
Have a great Labor Day!
Hugs, Lynn
