When the weather warms up and all thoughts are of entertaining outside, do you then realize you have nowhere to seat your guests? Brent and Courtney from grayhousestudio have constructed a beautiful outdoor sectional seating bench, and they share their plans and instructions with us.
Besides a complete supply list, Brent and Courtney provide free downloadable plans for the sectional. The directions for this project are clearly written and are enhanced by diagrams and detailed photos of each step of the construction. Because of these features, the project is reasonably easy to construct. One of the genius moves made by Brent and Courtney was to use cedar fence pickets for the back and side sections of the bench. They are sturdy and easy to work with, and once cushions and pillows were added, they provided a comfortable spot for seating.
A protective clear poly was added to make sure the sectional bench would withstand temperature changes and humidity.
