Anne from Anne with an E was inspired by Ana White and the ladies over at Shanty 2 Chic to build two new bookcases to flank her vintage library desk. She knew she could really use the storage but sure didn’t want to spend $1,800 at Pottery Barn for two shelves in a basement office. Enter Ana White and her FREE building plans! Anne was able to build shelves with a similar style for only $200 and also customize them by leaving the back open and allowing for more natural light. Gotta love DIY!
