After completing a wainscoting effect on the bottom of her guest bathroom walls, Shannon from Shannon Berrey Design broke out the Sharpies and drew (yes, by hand!) this amazing butterfly and bird design on the top portion of the walls. Shannon is a brave soul and obviously amazingly talented. I want to be a guest at her house just so I can use this bathroom!

As the manager of nearly 200 rental homes, I have to agree with Lisa.
This is gorgeous. However, I wanted to warn people that my Uncle once tried to paint over Sharpie on the wall, and over time it continued to show through, after several coats, primer, etc. Just a heads up- Sharpie is probably not the best medium for walls.

She drew that BY HAND?! Incredible! I don’t even want to think about what my version would look like . . . think toddlers getting a hold of the crayons and ransacking the walls . . . that looks amazing!
