Lorilyn from A Crummy Marriage created her own artwork by piecing together three pieces of leftover wood for her “canvas” and mixing and diluting house and acrylic paints. After a lot of layering paint colors and sanding, she ended up with this natural piece of tree art for her mantel. Her freehand drawing is pretty amazing to say the least!

I had this painting bookmarked as one I wanted to attempt in the future. I am glad I haven’t yet because I am loving how she did this on wood. Gorgeous! I love her version better than the original 🙂
