Bliss of Bliss Ranch took the old clock from her wall and gave it a totally new look with some ingenuity and parts from the garage.
The MDF frame looks amazingly like metal thanks to Bliss’ handiwork with paint.
Now Bliss says she’s looking twice at the rest of the clocks in her house to see how she can morph them into something better too!
Bliss was inspired by the 1940s Gymnasium Clock from Restoration Hardware.
Bliss shares the tutorial at Bliss Ranch.

This DIY on the restoration of the industrial clock is really amazing. Too bad I threw out my vintage one and got a new one from https://orchidranchfurniture.com/collections/industrial-wall-clocks. I could have done some restoration on the clock!

That's a really great looking industrial wall clock you have there! The way it was restored beautifully requires master craftsmanship! Honestly, I'm sloppy at this kind of stuff so I always get clocks from https://orchidranchfurniture.com/collections/industrial-wall-clocks . But I have an old clock from my old home that I want to restore and your article gave me great ideas!

Thank you Becky. I love how my clock turned out. The question now at my house is which one to bump up a notch next!
