Suesan from Frou-FruGal brought a trash-bound wall display cubby back to life with a little reconstructive surgery (aka clamps, glue, and wood putty). She wasn’t put off by the fact that the back was falling off and at least one corner was pretty banged up. (Sounds like my kind of girl!) She filled the cubbies with sentimental pieces from her hubby’s side of the family. I loved reading about the history behind some of the pieces. Just look at Grandma’s baby shoes on the lower right shelf!
Suesan’s display shelf is similar to the Cubby Organizer with Natural Stain from Pottery Barn.
Check out Frou-FruGal for the tutorial.
