For Lauren from Simply Free, a dining room table is more than just a table. She says, “The dining room, in our family, is the place where family and friends gather. Where we break bread, and share stories, and fill the room with laughter and love.” So it’s understandable why Lauren didn’t want to skimp on quality and set out with her husband to build a table that would fit their budget and meet their needs. Not only did Lauren and her hubs get the perfect farmhouse table at an affordable price, but they also got to share the experience of building their table together!
I love me some chevron, so it’s no wonder the design of this table built by Paula at Sweet Pea and her hubby caught my eye. The slanted shelves mimic the look of chevron and also keep books and magazines nice and tidy. You can’t beat stylish AND functional! Would you believe it only cost the couple $30 to build?
Jen from The House of Wood is at it again with another fabulous furniture build. Equipped with Ana White’s step-by-step, easy-to-read plans, Jen built her “perfect end table” in 45 minutes. No joke! Jen says, “If you’re timid about building furniture from scratch, this is the perfect starter project for you!”
