Becca at From Gardners Two Bergers always blows me away with her ability to replicate pricey pieces of art. Not only are her DIY versions the spitting images of their designer counterparts, but they cost way less. For this piece of large map art, Becca printed the map image as multiple color copies to avoid the hefty cost associated with making a supersized print. She then decoupaged them together. Doesn’t it look awesome?
Becca was inspired by Turgot’s 1739 “Plan de Paris” Decoupage Map which retails for $1695 – $2495 from Restoration Hardware.
