Does your porch or deck need a little extra something to spruce it up? Jen from jenwoodhouse introduces us to Kristi, a guest poster who felt that her front porch could use a planter, and when she couldn’t find one to suit her needs, she built her own and she explains how she did it in her tutorial.
Kristi gives us a complete supply list for the project as well as a cut list for all the pieces. This can easily be adapted to suit your own needs so your planter will be truly unique. The instructions for this project are clearly written, and there are detailed photos of the process that will make it a snap to build your own. Kristi chose to stain her planter to give it a rustic look, but painting it is also an option to consider.
Once the stain or paint has been applied, a coat of clear poly to make it weatherproof is needed.
