Thrift stores aren’t the only place to get inexpensive furniture, this pair of nightstands was $5 on Craigslist and pretty ugly before Tiffany over at Diva Locks got ahold of them. Since the nightstands were already finished with a stain and protective sealant, Tiffany had to take some fine grit sandpaper and remove the finish before her paint would stick. She also used a set of furniture feet to raise the nightstands off the ground and make them a little bit more modern.
