Tandra from Little Houses… Big Dogs found the perfect curtain rods from West Elm.
They had clean, simple lines and mid-century appeal, but they also cost around $100 a piece. Yikes!
What Tandra had was a traditional style curtain rod with a “door knob” style finial – not the modern look Tandra was going for.
Tandra had a brainstorm to replace the existing finials with pieces of wood dowels to mimic the look of the West Elm rods.
This is a super simple and inexpensive way to update your existing curtain rods, and I love the mix of metal and natural wood!
Tandra was inspired by the Oversized Adjustable Metal Curtain Rod from West Elm.
