Like Shannon from AKA Design + Life, you may remember the popularity of faux brass dome clocks or have even owned one yourself.
Shannon was inspired to turn a thrifted clock into a beautiful cloche by removing the clock parts, painting the base, and filling it with rolled sheet music.
If you’d like to make your own, Shannon points out that these dome clocks are readily available at thrift stores and that it would be lovely to cluster DIY cloches in varying sizes on a table or mantel.
Shannon was inspired by the 1920s French Glass Cloches from Restoration Hardware.
Shannon shares her dome clock to DIY cloche tutorial at AKA Design + Life.

Becky, wanted to take a minute to thank you once again for what you do! Been signed up since the beginning and I still look forward to opening each email from you! It's not always something I'll do now, or maybe ever, but I have many bookmarks for projects I'll definitely do at some point in the future, not to mention the ones I've done in the past or am collecting for at the moment. I'm appreciative of your effort and continue to enjoy your emails, you're so good at this! Keep up the great work. PS A lot of my friends and family are following you as well since they enjoyed I link I shared with them.
