Heather from New House New Home had one of those “I can make that!” moments when she laid eyes on a bucket advent calendar from Pottery Barn. She was able to replicate it using an old barn wood frame, burlap, and wedding favor buckets from the dollar store. Here’s from Heather: “A Pottery Barn inspired galvanized bucket advent calendar at a fraction of the cost. I think that the original was $99. Mine cost approximately $15 with the foam core, burlap, buckets and filler paper. I’m pretty happy with my knock-off.” Oh how I love counting down to a special event or holiday. It always makes it so much more exciting. I guess I am just a big kid at heart!
