Pattern and texture are a great way to add interest to a rather plain vase. Val from Home Made Modern happens to love honeycomb and found a way to recreate the look of designer ceramics using dollar store vases and paint. Val started out with dollar store vases and then simply drew on a honeycomb design with dimensional paint. After it dried, she painted the whole vase with glossy spray paint. You could use this same technique to add words or a monogram too!
Val was inspired by the Linework Honeycomb Vases from West Elm.
