Around the internet painted jars have become more and more popular, especially on Pinterest. Abby from Just a Girl and Her Blog decided she had to give into the temptation to do it herself. Using some small glass jars he had around the house, acrylic paint and other common household products she created her own DIY painted glass jars.
One of Abby’s tips is to start by cleaning the jars with rubbing alcohol in order to make sure they’re completely clean creating a better surface for the paint to stick to. The hardest part of this DIY? Waiting for the paint to dry before distressing it using a nail file.
