DIY Painted Thrift Store Nightstand

night stand before and after

Kate from Centsational girl is a big fan of repainting pieces of furniture that she finds at thrift stores.

When she came across a carved wooden nightstand she knew it would be perfect to replace her step-daughter’s nightstand.

She loved that it would have more storage and be more functional for guests who use the room when her step-daughter is off at college.

Using wood filler to first touch up the knicks and scratches on the nightstand Kate’s only other supplies were two different paint colors and new knobs to create her DIY painted thrift store nightstand.

This is Kate’s finished nightstand:

Yeah, it’s cute as heck!

This little stand is beyond splendid because who doesn’t have one of these little, narrow spaces in their house between a bed and the bedroom wall?

Go be like Kate and find something that fits the bill, then make it shine. It’ll complete the look of any bedroom!
