Ursula from Home Made by Carmona knew West Elm’s slab benches were perfect for her front patio.
She couldn’t get them out of her mind and was convinced nothing else would do. However, at $699 per bench, it was either three new benches or groceries for two month…. OR figure out a way to DIY the coveted benches!
Ursula went with option number three and says, “This easy under-$15-knock-off was a no-brainer.
Simple A-frame legs are easily assembled from studs, and a slab of treated lumber makes for the perfect bench top.
You can even mimic the slab effect for that perfectly priced, perfectly styled, bench knock-off!”
Ursula was inspired by the Slab Bench from West Elm.
