Curtain rods are an often-overlooked part of interior design.
Sometimes we think, “oh, I’ll just buy the cheap ones because they’ll be covered by the curtains anyway, right?” WRONG!
The look of a totally classy curtain rod can improve the design of your room tremendously, and you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on designer curtain rods to do it. (Although you definitely could, if you were so inclined.)
Jessica from House Homemade totally gets us and our classy curtain rod theory and DIYed her own fabulous mid-century curtain rods inspired by West Elm.
She spent only $10 on her project!
That might be cheaper even than the ugly plastic rods you can find at the discount store- and so much prettier.
These are the West Elm rods that inspired Jessica’s makeover
And this is Jessica’s finished DIY!
You’ll have to pop over to House Homemade to see how Jessica completed her fabulous DIY curtain rod project- the supplies she used might surprise you!
