If you have a section of open wall and are in need of more storage space (and who isn’t?), this project by Megan of itsagrandvillelife is just the thing for you. Megan had a beautiful buffet in place and used the space above it to create a set of floating shelves that look as if they were professionally custom built for the wall, and indeed they were custom crafted by Megan herself!
She takes us step-by-step through the process she used to create this project and gives us a supply list and a cut list for the wood as well. The detailed photos Megan provides makes it easy to see just how the shelving is constructed and attached to the wall. Megan also added a stemware hanging rack to the bottom of the lower shelf to store wine glasses.
Besides giving us instructions to complete this project, Megan is also honest about letting us know any pitfalls to be aware of.
