Let’s face it, coffee tables are a must. Whether they are made from a slab of wood, plexiglass, tile, they serve one purpose. A place to rest your feet after a long day. Not really. Truly they help with the small things in life. A place to set a cup of tea or hold magazines, the tv remote, you name it, the coffee table helps in our decor.
Ashley, from Little Glass Jar, shares her simple and yet sturdy project for building your own coffee table. Her materials list and instructions are easy to follow. Using 2 x 2’s for the frame construction she shows us with pictures the process of screwing everything together. The plank table top was stained allowing the beautiful texture of the wood to come through.
This project requires some cutting, but a confident beginner, with some basic power tool knowledge would be able to complete this project. If you are not confident, grab someone who is, and have fun putting together this sturdy and functional coffee table.
