DIY Abstract Painted Dinnerware

10:55 AM By Beckie

Mark Montano shares the perfect way to add a pop of color to your table – with abstract painted dishes!

Not only do these dishes double as art, but they are incredibly simple and inexpensive to make.

Simply grab some white plates and mugs from the thrift store or dollar store and get painting! By using glass paint, these dishes are even dishwasher safe.

You can layer them on the table with clear glass dishes so the design shows through or, as Mark suggests, place them on a desk or dresser to hold pens or jewelry.

Abstract Painted Plates

Mark was inspired by the Rowena Martinich Melamine Plate from Martinich&Carrian.
