Melissa from The Cre8tive Outlet has been working on creating pieces for a kid’s space inspired by a sock monkey. (Intrigued? You’ll have to check out Melissa’s site!) To this end, she built a distressed table with a reclaimed look from inexpensive wood purchased at Lowe’s. I love Melissa’s suggestion to use a coffee table as an activity table in a kid’s room. It’s just the right level for play and will grow with the child when the playroom later transitions to hang out spot.
Melissa was inspired by the Nantucket Reclaimed Wood Coffee Table from Sacred Space Imports.
