When Gail from My Repurposed Life spied a pricey pedestal stand online, she realized she could easily make one herself with materials she already had. Gail combined an old bed piece and two squares of wood to create her gorgeous, versatile little stand.
This is a simple way to repurpose something like an old bedpost or stair baluster if you can score one at a thrift store or garage sale.
Gail was inspired by the Cyan Designs Small Theodore Pedestal in Distressed Gray sold by Sears and other retailers.
