DIY Faux Succulent Wreath

If you are a fan of succulents but find that where you live tends to kill them quickly, then this wreath design idea will be sure to please.

A wonderful feature of using fake or silk plants is that they do not need water, sunlight, or nutrients.

Ashley from My Craftily Ever After shares how she took a thrift shop wreath and gave it a lovely home and a makeover.

With succulents found at the local dollar store, Ashley glued them to the wreath with her hot glue gun.

Keep in mind that this can also be done with faux silk flowers for every season.

Ashley mentions she changes her front door wreaths with the change of each season.

Imagine a summer theme with bucket and pail, beach ball, and bright orange and blue flowers.

August could have a back to school theme, with a yellow and black flowers and a school bus theme.

Do you have a wreath that could use a change?

Check out Ashley’s post for some great inspiration for your front door.
