She first lightened up the frame with some white chalk paint and dark wax and then added a Christmas saying to the glass. The fact that the text is removable makes it perfect for seasonal decorating and special occasions, but I love the idea of adding a beloved saying or Bible verse to a mirror or old window to enjoy the whole year through.
Would you believe Cindy at Custom Comforts created this lovely embroidered Christmas pillow using items she scrounged up around the house? Cindy sewed up a pillow cover from one of my favorite materials, drop cloth, and created the holly leaves and pine cones from secondhand Goodwill sweaters. The icing on the cake is all the beautiful embroidery that Cindy did by hand! Are you as impressed as I am?!?
