Spinning Storage Shelf

In need of storage for her craft space, Jeanette from Country Design Style created a revolving shelf that has room to spare. Jeanette added her own flair by gluing various styles of trim to the top and bottom. I love how accessible everything is with this design. Instead of searching around in a cabinet or drawer, just give it a spin and craft away!

Workbench Bar Console

When good friends of Jen from House of Wood bought their first home, she built them this workbench-style console following plans from Ana White. The couple plans to use the console as a coffee bar in their breakfast nook. Talk about one awesome housewarming gift! The Pottery Barn inspiration comes close to the $2000 mark, while Jen built hers for only $65!

Framed Wall Mirrors

Patty from Our Adventures in Big Ole Texas had been wanting a really cool mirror from CB2 for her oldest son’s room. Unfortunately, at $149 it was way out of her price range. After over a year of using 40% off coupons at Hobby Lobby, Patty finally collected enough mirrors to assemble her own for $15. Just like her inspiration, Patty plans to make several of the mirrors to group together on the wall.

Glass Bottle Rope Cloche

After successfully learning how to cut glass, Maryann from Domestically Speaking put those newfound skills to work with a Ballard-inspired rope cloche. Maryann took one of her bottles that already had a crisply cut base and inserted a rope with a few knots into it. Yessiree… that’s it – both easy and classy! Right now, Maryann’s cloche is displaying summery seashells but who knows what pretties it will be housing come fall.
