Organization is a problem for most of us, especially when it comes to the space we use for everyday work. How frustrating is it to not be able to find a pen, a pair of scissors or a notepad when we need it? Jaime from Jaimecostiglio has designed a letter holder that is as practical as it is stylish. Seeing one similar at Anthropologie she decided to make one for herself.
Jaime used 1/2″ and 1/4″ plywood scraps for this project, and she gives us a detailed list of cuts to make. Her step-by-step building plans are available as a free printable PDF. Once the box is built, the finishing can be anything you choose. Jaime decided upon a gold metallic finish, but the letter holder would be equally beautiful painted any color that suits your decor or even stained to match your other wood finishes.
The letter holder can either be mounted on a wall if you add the appropriate hardware, or it can sit on any counter or desktop.
