Amanda from Dixie Delights decided to deviate a bit from her usual traditional style and incorporate hints of black and white into her décor. It started with a set of spotted chandelier shades from Ballard Designs. Amanda loved the idea of putting the shades on the blindingly bright chandy in her den but wasn’t about to spend $150 on them. Instead, she set out on a mission to make her own with drum shades from Lowe’s and black paint. Amanda literally just painted the spots on the shade, and that was it. Simple and statement-making!
