Erika from Retropolitan created this lamp shade using a $15 drum shade from Target and a paint pen. After sketching out her design on paper, she went to work with her paint pen and mostly freehanded the design on the shade. She drew the key image on the inside of the shade so it would appear when the lamp is turned on. Erika’s version is nearly identical to Anthro’s and over $110 dollars cheaper!
Erika was inspired by the Secret Silhouette Shade from Anthropologie.
