Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of time to dress up your summer décor. Stephanie Lynn from Under the Table and Dreaming created these nautical buoys from scrap wood, making them free. Suh-weet! She just used acrylic craft paint for the punch of color and then added vinyl numbers and sisal rope. If you don’t have the means (or friends with the means) to cut vinyl, you could use a technique to paint on the numbers by hand. Since the supplies are pretty basic, this is one of those projects that could cost you next to nothing to create.
