Lampshade to Pendant Light Makeover

7:00 AM By Kirea Leave a Comment

Have you poked around the thrift store long enough to see their overwhelming collection of horrendously ugly lampshades? Well, next time you are there pick up a couple of them and bring them home to recreate this DIY from Mandi at Vintage Revivals. She removed the ugly lampshade from hers and hung on to the wire frames to form the base of her project. She used a white masonry rope from the hardware store and a lot of patience to wrap the outside of her lampshades, but the result is so beautiful!

Head over to Vintage Revivals to see how to create your own hanging light!
