Do you love to decorate with beachy objects to give your home a coastal feel? If this describes you, then you’ll love to make this beautiful vase at almost no cost at all. Brooke from anastasiavintage provides a detailed tutorial for this simple project.
If you’re lucky enough to live by the ocean, you can collect your driftwood pieces straight from the sand. Driftwood pieces are available at many craft shops if you happen to be landlocked. There are only a few other materials needed besides the driftwood. The jar you use for the vase can be a re-cycled candle jar which would be a perfect size. Once you’ve measured your jar, you will need to cut the pieces of driftwood to a uniform size about an inch taller than the rim of the glass.
The driftwood pieces are then glued to the jar and a strand of jute twine is wrapped around the vase.
