Earlier this week, I shared the simple and versatile changing table that Katie of Sew Woodsy built for her son’s nursery.
That was not the only piece Katie saved her hard-earned cash on through DIY.
Katie and her husband Jon also teamed up with Ana White to build an extra wide matching dresser with plenty of storage space – for only 1/3 the price. Woot woot!
The beauty of this piece is that it will grow with her now little man for years to come!
The original inspiration came from Pottery Barn Kid’s Extra Wide Kendall Dresser.
This is one of those pieces you can spend a bunch of money on but probably sell or give away eventually. Or…
You can make it yourself, be proud, love it and keep in your family for generations. Now, that’s pretty special!
You can find all the details about this Kendall dresser build at Sew Woodsy.
You really have to check out how they came together to do this one. I’ve seen a lot of these DIY furniture projects, and I must say I’m pretty impressed.
Head on over to Katie’s blog, and you will be too!
