Bre from Bre Pickett created a pretty impressive DIY dupe of the popular Pottery Barn Folsom Coffee Table.
This project seriously looks like it came straight out of a designer showroom! a.k.a. Pottery Barn.
Bre wanted that warm, rustic vibe of the original table without the hefty price tag — and wow, did she deliver!
She built the entire table from scratch using common pine boards and a sheet of plywood for the top.
Here’s the Pottery Barn Folsom Table:
One of my favorite details?
How she added that thick, chunky trim around the tabletop to mimic the Pottery Barn style.
Plus, she used a super smart technique of applying wood filler to the plywood edges so it looks like one solid piece.
Bre finished the table with a beautiful combination of Minwax stains — Special Walnut first, then a light layer of Classic Gray.
The result is this gorgeous, weathered wood tone that looks so high-end and cozy.
She also shares her exact cut list, build plans, and step-by-step instructions so you can easily tackle this project too.
Bre mentioned the total cost of her DIY table came in under $200 — such a steal compared to the original!
