Framed Panel Map Art on a Dime

After taking down the drop ceiling in her guest room, Cassie from Live, Laugh, & Craft saved every bit of the wood as scraps.

There was no way she was letting it get tossed when she could turn it into something fabulous – like Restoration Hardware inspired wall art!

Cassie used the wood to create six frames and then cut a map from Hobby Lobby into pieces to fit inside.

Cassie says, “I had everything on hand for this project with the exception to the map and the poster board, so I’m into it for under $15!!”

What a bargain for map art that fills a wall!

DIY Wall Art ~ This is a brilliant idea for creating a pieced together map by cutting a large map into pieces and framing each one!

The original inspiration came from the L’Isle’s 1720 World Map from Restoration Hardware.
