Kelli from The Turquoise Piano refabbed a lamp from Hope Depot for her master bedroom. Step number one was to paint the base a soft yellow. It’s amazing how much the shape and detail of the lamp come alive with the coat of paint. Step number two was to tackle the lampshade. Kelli gave it a new chic look by covering it with burlap and then adding flowers with pearl centers. This is an easy and inexpensive way to update an old lampshade. You could totally customize the look by choosing fabric and a design that reflects your style.
Kelli was inspired by the Fringed Clematis Shade from Anthropologie.
