Chair Makeover with Swirl Design

Mel from Junkin’ Junky found a set of four chairs at Goodwill for only $5 a piece. While the price was awesome, the chairs… not so much. Mel describes them as boring with a brown finish that scratched easily. She was inspired to update the color to a pretty blue and then add pizzazz with a vinyl swirl design. Talk about a transformation from brown and boring to blue and bold!

Great idea, Karen. I tend to forget that not everyone has visited my blog and knows how I do things. I’ve done so many projects where I added some flair with vinyl cut outs, that I worry that I would bore others if I were to post, yet again, how I did it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Why don’t you show how you made these beautiful chairs and what type of paint or decals you used?

Karen, you can click on one of the links in the post to visit Mel’s site. She does give some details there about how she made her chairs. Thanks for reading!
