While vacationing on the Jersey Shore, Lauren of The Thinking Closet picked up a few really sweet ruler-framed chalkboard signs at a little shop on the boardwalk. After giving those two signs away as gifts and wishing she had more, Lauren decided she could easily make her own and set to work with rulers, chalkboard paint, and a few other supplies. While there was an “almost-craft-fail” along the way, Lauren persevered and ended up with her own signs that are perfect for photo shoots and gifts.
Lauren was inspired by this chalkboard that she purchased from Carla Gizzi.
